Step 1. Purchase a Service

- For international students who want to get a house before they arrive in South Korea

For international students who are already in Korea and would like to find a new house

Step 2. Submit an application on Tally
Please fill out an application on Tally to let us know your housing preferences and criteria.
Step 3. Receive a Customer Dashboard
- If you did not get the payment confirmation email in 24 hours, please contact us through email (official@checkmatekorea.com)
- The dashboard will be sent usually two weeks before your desired move-in date, as that's when there are most rooms available

A dashboard is a personalized Google Spreadsheet provided by Checkmate that helps customers manage their accommodation booking process.
It guides you through checking service updates, viewing available rooms, prioritizing your housing choices, and entering the necessary information for a smooth booking experience.
Step 4. Choose your future housing
Receive a Checkmate report detailing housing options and prioritize available listings.
Step 5. Enter your contract details
We will collect the move-in date, contract period, rent/deposit payment method, etc.

Step 6. Confirm Your Room
Checkmate and the Real-estate Agent will check the availability of your choice.
Step 7. Sign a Provisional Contract on dashboard
Pay the Provisional Deposit to secure your housing.
🙋♀️What is a Provisional Contract?
It's a temporary contract made before the main contract to secure the housing. You can sign it by paying a portion of the deposit upfront.
You can pay the remaining deposit when you sign the main contract before moving in.
Step 8. Main Contract Information
Confirm the date for the main contract based on your move-in schedule.
(You will need to visit the real estate agency in person to sign the contract before you actually move in.)
